Meet Our Visionary Managing Director
From launching his first business—a lawn maintenance company complete with business cards—at the tender age of 12, to incorporating an entertainment management venture as a teenager, our Managing Director discovered his entrepreneurial passion early on. Fueled by this enthusiasm, he pursued a Bachelor's in Business Administration (BBA) with a specialization in Entrepreneurial Leadership.

His journey continued with the management of a financial planning portfolio before joining a startup in 2005. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in catapulting sales to over $5 million and expertly handled a payroll exceeding $1 million. Wearing multiple hats, he seamlessly managed HR, Accounting, Sales, and Production.

In 2009, together with his wife, they assumed control of a local event planning company, leading to the incorporation of Rare Affairs Event Management Inc. Under their leadership, the company expanded its footprint, orchestrating corporate events across Canada and around the world. Their remarkable team garnered accolades, including Small Business of the Year and the Community Impact Award from the Greater Langley Chamber of Commerce. Lux Life Magazine also recognized them with the prestigious Best Event Planning Company in Metro Vancouver Award.
